The Communication Arts American publishing house is one of the most significant in the visual communications field. It has been publishing the world's best related works since 1959. Its annual books are an important and esteemed forum allowing acquaintance with the design industry's best talents; competing for acknowledgment and presentation of their works between the pages of its various editions. The winners are chosen by a staff of professional jurors including leading designers in their fields. The judges for the 2012 typographic annual edition (Typography Annual Two) chose two Hebrew typefaces we designed, Bee Serif and Socialism, as winners. The typefaces were chosen separately and each one of them in its own right. The two wins were of the 150 projects chosen to be presented in this edition. This is out of 5,000 works that competed for a spot on its pages. The publicity serves as a contribution and significant honor to Hebrew typography and to Israeli design.
