Hebrew Corporate typeface design

Designing the Hebrew typeface for Volkswagen is a project that was born out of a practical need. In the course of our work with the brand, we found it difficult to combine Hebrew letters alongside the Latin typeface – while the Latin brand typeface is unique and comprehensive, it does not include a solution to the Hebrew script. In response to this need, we were required to design the Hebrew version of the brand’s typeface – a version perfectly fitting to the Latin typeface, combining Hebrew harmoniously with Latin. This typeface is the official Volkswagen brand typeface in Israel, used by Champion Motors importer in all of the brand publications for VW.
